Our food offering is very important to us. Our way is the fresh way; the seasonal
way; the simple way. We believe in the quality and integrity of our food as something
special and to savour (we're very much part of the 'Slow Food Movement'). Ingredients
are as local as possible, prepared with passion, and served with relaxed informality.
Due to chef’s passion for seasonal ingredients, menus will vary.
The Restaurant opens 7.00 to 9.00pm and the Bar/Lounge menu also served then, plus
Noon - 2.00pm.
Our cooking is both 'relaxed' and 'serious'. Relaxed in the way we present our dishes,
and the atmosphere, and the attitude. Serious, very serious about doing it properly
and serving you efficiently; buying the very best ingredients, as organic and local
as possible; and preparing and cooking with skill and attention. We're a working
member of 'The Slow Food Movement'.
"Slow Food and Wine… is about a way of living life.
About taking time… to see rather
than look…
to savour rather than taste… to caress rather than touch… to absorb rather
than smell… to listen rather than hear…
on this miraculous planet we share."
To start the day we offer you a hearty Welsh breakfast. Our restaurant dinner menus
(sample will be shown here shortly) change daily to reflect what's good and fresh
in the locality.
Our meats are supplied from named farms near Bala, where as much of the fish is sourced
from the nearby Cardigan Bay. The eggs we use are free range naturally, and our cheese
board carries predominantly Welsh varieties, some of which are often organic and
unpasteurised.
If you want sustenance, but not a full meal, our bar and lounge menu and morning
coffee/afternoon tea menus are available.

Apologies!
We don’t currently have a menu to show you. We are working on a new one which will
be here in a couple of days.
